Veterinarian
Dr. Adam Borsheim was born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas where he also competed in collegiate soccer. Throughout the summers of undergraduate and veterinary school he would return to Idaho, working as a vet assistant at Prairie Animal Hospital. Dr. Borsheim received his doctorate from St. George’s University in Grenada and attended the University of Florida for his clinical year. Although he enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine his areas of special interest are surgery, internal medicine, ultrasonography, and radiography.
His time away from the hospital is spent traveling, scuba diving, hiking, camping and other outdoor adventures with his siberianhusky, Kodiak. He also has two cats he brought home from his shelter rotations during his time at the University of Florida: Simba and Mojo, a three legged cat.
