Position Details
Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant
Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, 4 ten-hour shifts

What You’ll Do
- Support veterinarians and technicians with patient care, treatments, and procedures
- Assist with patient handling, restraint, and comfort
- Help maintain efficient workflow by anticipating the needs of DVM staff
- Communicate with clients, coworkers, and doctors with professionalism and empathy
- Support dental, anesthesia, laser therapy, and other advanced services as trained
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized treatment and exam areas
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-focused hospital culture
What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring
- Previous veterinary assistant experience required
- Highly positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities
- Strong awareness of what needs to be done and the initiative to help make it happen
- Willingness to ask for help and offer help to others
- Empathy for clients, patients, coworkers, and yourself
- Desire to continue learning and growing professionally
- Experience with dental radiology is a plus, but not required
