Wellness & Vaccinations

Do you want to know the secret to helping your pet enjoy a long, happy and healthy life?

As loving pet parents, we want our animal companions by our side for as many years as possible. At Creature Comforts Animal Hospital, we believe the best way to ensure this happens is by making a commitment to their ongoing wellness. By bringing your pet in for regular checkups, you’ll help protect him or her from many common ailments. You’ll also give us the opportunity to identify and address potential health problems early, before they have chance to develop and worsen. These simple things can add years to your pet’s life.

An Ounce of Prevention

Our wellness services are extremely thorough, because we want to do everything in our power to keep your furry, feathered or scaly friend healthy. At each visit, the doctor will examine your pet from nose to tail, looking for anything out of the ordinary. We’ll also develop and implement a customized preventative care plan tailored to your pet’s unique needs, lifestyle and risk factors. This will include vaccines, parasite control, nutrition and weight management and anything else we deem relevant to your companion.

Ongoing Health Management

Wellness visits also provide us with regular snapshots of your pet’s health status at each appointment. We can then compare this information against previous exams to identify any changes. This allows us to detect the signs of illness early and develop an effective treatment plan in a timely manner. With many ailments, an early diagnosis can vastly improve the outcome for your pet. The more we stay on top of these things, the better chance we’ll have of extending and improving the quality of your companion’s life.

Getting to Know You

Finally, annual visits give us the chance to get to know you and your animal family member. Developing a relationship with you and forging a bond with your pet is an integral part of the care we provide. This allows us to partner with you in managing your loved one’s health, and also makes visiting the vet a more positive experience. The more we understand your companion’s needs, the better care we can provide. Additionally, the more we educate you on keeping your pet happy and healthy, the more time you’ll get to share together.

My cat has diabetes. She was seen last June at Critter Care, the sister hospital. They were going through some changes with staff, so Dr Taylor Francher took over KK’s care.
We did everything by phone, I would do glucose curves once a week, call the numbers in to Creature Comforts, and Dr Francher would call me back and tell me what dose of insulin to give her.
When it came time for KK’s check up, I decided to go to Creature Comforts so I could finally meet Dr Francher. She is even more amazing in person than she is on the phone.
It’s a beautiful, clean, comfortable facility. All of the staff are very caring, and really make you feel like your pet matters!
It’s definitely not as convenient for me to go to, but I can’t see going anywhere else now!

Penny loves the care she gets at Creature Comforts! Being spayed wasn't fun, but you made up for it with the little bear you gave her! She's so happy! Love the little "extras" she gets... treats, cuddles & now a post-surgery toy!

Dr. Paul is my favorite! She performed two surgeries on me, saw me at minimum of once a month during my puppy years (hey, it doesn't have to edible for me to consume it) and was very compassionate and concerned with pain management.

Dr. Paul understood my breed (min-pin) and explained in depth how my personality is a factor in my unhealthy habits (like eating princess rings, rubber bands, whoopee cushions). She made sure, in spite of my tenacious breed that I was able to "just rest."

She has always gone above and beyond explaining the options available and making sure the best possible solution was opted for, both cost effectively and health wise.

Before I officially adopted my little Seamus they were so help full, no that he is officially mine. I’m very haptic have him go here so nice and friendly. He’s cutting their kitty day care. And have been so nice when I call to check on him. I can’t wait to pick up my little nugget. I miss him so much.
